In the first quarter of 2025, the hack and slash gaming category in Nigeria saw varied performance across the top five applications on the unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the trends of downloads, revenue, and active users for these popular games.

Ninja Ryuko: Shadow Ninja Game from Monstermob USA showed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 8.4K and ending at roughly 3K. Active users also decreased from 38.9K to 24.6K. However, the game managed to generate a modest revenue of $25 in the final week of March.

Stormblades, published by Kiloo, experienced a steady decline in both downloads and active users throughout the quarter. Downloads fell from 5.6K to 1.8K, and active users decreased from 7.6K to 2.7K, with no revenue recorded during this period.

MARVEL Future Fight by Netmarble saw fluctuating revenue, peaking at $386 in early March. Weekly downloads showed a notable increase in mid-March, reaching 6.1K, while active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at 32.7K.

Solo Leveling:Arise also by Netmarble, witnessed a rise in downloads in March, peaking at 2.9K. The revenue reached $338 in early March, while active users increased steadily, ending at 16.6K.
